The thermal transmittance coefficient of the profiles, Uf = 1.0 W/m²K, obtained in the tests, places the IDEAL 8000 system among the most important solutions for investors interested in energy-efficient construction. The ability to use energy-efficient glazing units up to 51 cm wide allows for the creation of windows with very low thermal transmittance. For example, a reference window measuring 1230 x 1480 mm, using a glazing unit with a Ug = 0.5 W/m²K coefficient, achieves a thermal insulation coefficient of Uw = 0.76 W/m²K, meeting the requirements for windows in so-called passive construction.
Safetec inside – for even better burglary protection. The Ideal 8000 system is one of the few systems on the market with a so-called “classic center seal.” A special extruded center rebate, to which a third, inner seal adheres firmly, makes it difficult to force the sash open, blocking access to the hardware. Using the optional “bonding inside” glazing technology, a circumferential adhesive gap permanently bonds the glass to the profile effectively prevents the glass from being pushed out of the sash.
The three-seal system used in the IDEAL 8000 series not only improves the tightness of the entire structure but also significantly extends the life of the hardware mechanisms, which are isolated from external conditions in a so-called dry chamber. This ensures improved operation of the hardware components and trouble-free window operation.
The attractive combination of a high frame and a lowered sash (total height of 119 mm) allows for very narrow, attractive visible areas in the finished windows, after they have been installed with insulating materials. This increases both light penetration and passive energy gains.
